Café Twit

Café Twit welcomes the public and Museum visitors from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm on Sunday. (The Café is open on selected Mondays when the Museum is open).

Food and drinks can be enjoyed on site in our cosy café; alternatively they can be provided in take-away containers. All ingredients are freshly prepared. We will try our best to meet any special requirements so please ask at the counter. Gluten free meals are available on request.

Head Chef at Café Twit
Maternity cover from June 2013. Fixed term contract for 9 months (with possible 3 month extension).

Café Twit is situated at The Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. We are a busy family-friendly café serving great quality, homemade food. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Head Chef to join our team to cover the current post-holder’s maternity leave.

You will have in-depth knowledge of food and baking and experience in a similar catering environment. Managerial experience is desirable but most importantly you will be creative, committed and have a genuine passion for food. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and training will be given.

This is a full time role, working 5 days a week, including weekends. The role will involve the day-to-day running of the café, undertaking managerial tasks and begins in mid-June. Salary and working hours to be discussed.
