Small groups
If you are a small school group, we can offer a self-guided visit for 15 students or less. To book your small group visit please contact the education team on 01494 892192 or email schools@roalddahlmuseum.org.

If you do want a self-guided visit we suggest the following timetable:

11.15am Arrive at the Museum. Store coats and bags in our cloakroom
11.20am to 12.40pm Explore the galleries
12.40pm Have lunch in our lunchroom – please book this in advance

After lunch you are welcome to go back into the galleries if you need more time to explore. We recommend using this timetable as the larger guided school groups should be having their workshops and using the lunchroom between 11.20am and 12.40pm and you are more likely to have the galleries to yourselves (although we can not guarantee this).
