You can help us to be as green as possible. Here are some suggestions:

Before you come
If you can, try to come by public transport. You will find lots of information to help you on our How to find us page and we even offer a 2 for 1 for those who come by train.

If you are coming by car, see if you can car share with another family. Click on the link on the right for help with car sharing.

If you are bringing a picnic, try to bring a 'no waste lunch'. Click on the link on the right for ideas and tips.

Bring a refillable water bottle - we have a drinking fountain so no need for bottled water.

Pack a shopping bag to take home the things you make around the Museum and any goodies you buy in our shop.

When you're here

Help us recycle as much as possible by sorting your waste into the correct bin (they are labelled).

Help us reduce waste by putting the lids back on glue and felt tip pens.

Keep doors shut in the winter to help reduce heat loss.
