For 5+ years: Cunning Mr Fox had to be quick-thinking to escape Boggis and Bunce and Bean, the three nastiest farmers you could ever meet. Come along and make your own Mr Fox and a handy burrow for him to hide away.

Cinderella’s Bum*
Tuesday 5 August 1.30pm to 2.30 and 3pm to 4pm
For 7-11 years: ever wondered ‘does my bum look big in this?’ Fear no more as Nicholas Allan explains why we come in all shapes and sizes and why it was good that Cinderella, Queen Victoria and Santa Claus had large behinds! Join the author of The Queen’s Knickers, and Cinderella’s Bum, for a drawing, writing, magic and storytelling bonanza.

For 6+ year olds: What was it like to compete in chariot races and run in full armour?  Storyteller Sudha Mooney takes you back to a time when men were heroes and the Gods ruled their fate. Be enchanted by tales of the great games of the ancients to get you in the Olympic mood.

Norma will help you find out all you could ever want to know about anteaters and Paula will help you make your very own accomplished anteater to take home.

Giants and Worms
Friday 29 August 1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 5+ year olds: What would it like to be bigger than your parents?  And much bigger than your friends?  What would it be like to be tiny?  And to have no legs or arms?   Joe Friedman, author of the “warm, wise and wonderful” Boobela and Worm books, will explore being very big and very small with you.  We’ll also look at creating stories and what goes into making a book. Joe, an American, has done stand up comedy so you’re guaranteed an interactive, entertaining session.
