Enjoy some cosy storytelling this Christmas from the Roald Dahl classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Head to our Wondrous Woods to listen to some splendiferous renditions from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Our expert storyteller will make the story come alive with sounds, props and actions. This Christmas you can also hear our storytellers perform Roald Dahl’s poem, Mother Christmas.

Storytelling is free with Museum entry. There’s no need to book a space, but you can book your Museum entry tickets in advance.

Storytelling takes place at the Museum every weekend plus the following dates over the Christmas holidays:

  • Thursday 17 to Tuesday 22 December
  • Sunday 27 to Thursday 31 December
  • Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January
