Opening hours

During Buckinghamshire school holidays we are usually open from Monday to Sunday during half-terms and Tuesday to Sunday at Easter and during the summer holidays. See below for exact dates and our Christmas opening times.

Our interactive galleries can be explored whatever the weather, and our picture-perfect courtyard and self-guided walks are perfect for sunnier days.

We’re open for Titchy Toddlers only on some Friday mornings – see dates below

The Canny Cafe is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays and in the Buckinghamshire school holidays – see below for exact dates. Please note The Canny Cafe will not be open on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April, but there are plenty of cafes and pubs on the doorstep if you need to pop-out for refreshment.

Holiday opening dates

Easter:

• The Museum will be open from Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April (closed Monday 8 April).
• The Canny Cafe in the Courtyard will be open throughout the Easter holidays on the same days as the Museum, but will not be open on Easter Sunday or on Thursday 4 April due to staff availability. Apologies for an inconvenience caused.

Titchy Fridays

The Museum is open for Titchy Toddlers sessions only on selected term-time Friday mornings. This is usually the second Friday of the month during term time, 10am to 12.30pm. This applies on the following dates:

• Friday 8 March
• Friday 19 April
• Friday 10 May
• Friday 14 June
• Friday 12 July

Titchy Todders also runs on some term-time Monday mornings. The next sessions are on:

• Monday 22 April
• Monday 17 June

Last admission each day is at 3.15pm
