Make a festive Christmas tree decoration out of clay

Be inspired by the wondrous sweetie creations in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before designing your own in the form of a clay Christmas tree decoration.

Your workshop leader will show you some of the images and descriptions of sweeties from the book and show you some treasures from the Museum’s archive before letting you have fun with clay! Conjure up your own sweetie design then add decorations and ribbon to make a Christmas tree ornament to treasure forever.

  • Takes place at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
  • £5 per maker in addition to Museum entry. Under 18s must be accompanied in the workshop – adults can pay to make their own too if they want to, or just help out!
