Room hire at the Roald Dahl Museum

Fancy meeting somewhere a little bit different?

We have two meeting rooms available to hire for small groups to enjoy, suitable for a variety of activities.

Available rooms

Located on the second floor of the Museum, the Upper Babbling Room is decorated with images from the Museum’s archive including photos of Roald Dahl and the author’s letters.

  • Accommodates 40 people theatre style, 12 people seated around a meeting table.
  • Digital touchscreen and free WiFi.
  • Sink and tap with drinking water just outside the room.
  • Accessible by a staircase or lift.
  • Flip chart available.

Suitable for talks, presentations and meetings.

£100 half day, £175 full day

 

 

Located at the front of the Museum, this bright room is the perfect space for your group.

  • Can accommodate up to 12 people in a seated circle and up to 8 people around a meeting table.
  • Digital screen and free WiFi.
  • Just off the main entrance, this room is easy to get to from the High Street in Great Missenden.
  • Sink and tap with drinking water.
  • Small step for access, portable ramp is available.
  • Flip chart available.

 

Suitable for meet and greets, presentations, interviews and meetings.

£75 half day, £150 full day

The cost to hire The Upper Babbling Room is:

  • £100 half day (3 hours Monday to Sunday).
  • £175 full day (6 hours Monday to Sunday).

The cost to hire The Front Room is:

  • £75 half day (3 hours Monday to Sunday).
  • £150 full day (6 hours Monday to Sunday).

Please note that we don’t offer room hire during Buckinghamshire school holidays.

  • Delegate pack — Museum pen and yellow legal pad (the preferred choice of Roald Dahl!). £7.25pp
  • Golden Ticket —  to gain entry to the Museum galleries (annual ticket). £13.95pp
  • Guided Village Walk — add on a walk about the village that inspired so many of the stories, perfect for a dose of inspiration £85 for up to 12 people
  • Roald Dahl Museum chocolate bar — a visit really isn’t complete without some chocolate. A delicious bar of small batch chocolate from Bullion, made especially for the Museum. £6.99pp

For delicious drinks and homemade snacks sourced form local suppliers, you can pre-order from the Filling-Station (minimum order value applies).

Alternatively we can offer basic tea and coffee making facilities in the room for £6pp

We can also provide details of local caterers if you wish to source food yourselves.

Drinking water and glasses are provided with every booking.

 

Depending on your day of your booking, we may be able to offer breakout rooms/areas or eating spaces at an additional cost.
