Groups

Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows

Bring your group to the Roald Dahl Museum. Cubs, Beavers, Guides, Brownies & Rainbows are always welcome!

A visit to the Museum not only provides a great day out for your group, but can help them work towards their badges. We offer group visits all year round and offer a 10% discount on admission for groups with 10 or more paying tickets if paid for 14 days in advance of your visit.

Your group can explore the galleries, try out hands-on activities, see Dahl’s famous Writing Hut and explore the village and countryside that inspired the stories.

They can try out many activities that will help towards earning badges. These include:

  • Learning about local history and archive items on display – including Roald Dahl’s actual Writing Hut where he kept his collection of personal items and curiosities.
  • Heading out of the Museum on a self-guided village trail to see some of the sights that inspired Roald Dahl’s stories.
  • Enjoying hands-on activities in the galleries that inspire imagination and show visitors the process of creative writing.
