The walk leads you out of the Museum along pavements past the old, characterful buildings of Great Missenden. We walk up to Angling Spring Wood and along paths that might be muddy. There is a steep section in the wood. Please bring appropriate sturdy footwear.

Treat Dad to a walk in the woods, with cake and coffee after! The perfect activity for kids and adults alike. Head off into the woods that inspired so many of the stories, including Danny the Champion of the World. Listen to extracts from the book and take part in some nature-based activities.
Afterward you’ll head back to the Museum for refreshments that include your choice of homemade cake and hot or cold drink* from our lovely local suppliers.
