Group visits

Self-led visits

We offer regular slots for self-led groups to visit the Museum. These are available on Thursdays and Fridays from 11.15am to 12.30pm or in the afternoon from 2pm in Buckinghamshire term-time, depending on the size of your group. These timings are to work around our facilitated school programme and are timed to be when the galleries should be quieter for groups.

• Explore the galleries in the Museum including Boy, Solo and the Story Centre
• Enjoy craft and activity sheets in the Crafty Kitchen
• Use of a public picnic room during your visit
• Go on the self-led Village Trail to places that inspired Roald Dahl before or after your time in the Museum galleries
• Free adult places at a ratio of 1:8 students
• All 1-to-1 support free

Our self-led group sessions are great for small or large groups. Please get in touch for more information on maximum group sizes.
