You’ll find out how Roald Dahl created the story of Matilda, and see how the story changed dramatically over time, before dreaming-up your own hero with powers, tricks and enemies! You’ll get all your ideas down on paper and end up with a brilliant storyboard for your new tale. To help you with your story, you’ll receive a special storyboard booklet to use as the template for your ideas.
This hands-on workshop lasts one hour and is great for kids that love drawing and making up stories. Led by our expert Museum learning team, you’ll come away from the workshop brimming great new techniques for creating stories and generating ideas.
For age 7 and up (due to the nature of the workshop it’s not suitable for children under 7)

Children will need to be accompanied into the workshop by an adult, but adults don’t need to pay (unless they want to join in!).
