To book online, first select your Museum admission. You’ll then be given the option to add any workshops running that day.

Quiet day – Monday 5 August
Loud day – Monday 19 August
Monday 5th will be a relaxed day with Museum sounds turned down, Monday 19 will be a relaxed day where you can make as much noise as you like!
Visitor numbers will be reduced on both of these days. You can explore the galleries and enjoy drop-in crafts and sensory storytelling throughout the day.
There will be SEND Explorer Kits and Quiet Space Kits available to borrow for free from the ticket desk and our Learning Session Leaders will be on hand to help you get the most out of your visit.
Clay workshop
You can also take part in a craft workshop while you’re here:
- Peachy Clay Workshops on Monday 5 August – £4 per person
- Clay Creepy Crawlies on Monday 19 August – £4 per person
These take part at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, and 3pm. Get hands-on with clay to make a creation inspired by James and the Giant Peach. You can book a free seated supporter ticket for this workshop.
BSL storytelling
Our 3.30pm storytelling session on Monday 5 August will be BSL signed.
