Spark your imagination with an activity walk around Great Missenden.

Pick up an activity pack from the Museum shop to explore Great Missenden, with some family activities along the way!

We offer two types of activity pack, Sketch for Stories and Science and Nature. Both packs can be completed in and around Great Missenden, or you can take them to any outdoor, green space that you like.

PACK ONE – Science and Nature

Roald Dahl was inspired by the nature. Use this pack to investigate the natural world with a bug hunt and tree bingo, then create your own scientific records.

Pack includes

  • Activity booklet with Great Missenden Map.
  • Pencil.
  • Scientific observation viewer.
PACK TWO – Sketch for Stories

Be inspired by how Roald Dahl saw the world around him. Explore your surroundings, then try out some great drawing techniques to help develop settings and characters for a story.

Pack includes

  • Activity booklet with Great Missenden Map.
  • Pencil.
  • Sketching paper.

 

For age 5 and up
Activity packs cost £3.50 each and are available to Museum visitors and non-visitors.
