If you're bringing littles one to the Museum, here are our tip top visiting tips!
Pick up a Charlie Bucket
Little hands will love exploring objects related to the stories as they discover the Museum. These are free to borrow from the ticket desk every day we are open.

These activities are great for little ones to try out.

- How tall and I? Measure up to Roald Dahl and his characters in Solo.
- Who’s been sitting on my chair? Visit the Story Centre and pretend you’re Roald Dahl by sitting in his replica writing chair.
- Wish you were here! Visit George’s Crafty Kitchen for colouring and sticking.
Join in with an event
We run regular activities just for under 5s. Our Titchy Toddler mornings take place on selected term-time mornings once or twice a month. During these sessions under 5s get exclusive access to the galleries with special activities set up, and special storytelling on offer.
We also run school holiday sessions for just younger visitors, and other activities such as storytelling take place throughout the year.

- Baby change room with nappy supplies if you need them, plus another baby change table in our accessible toilet.
