Twits and Tricks this October Half-term

Friday 10 October

Celebrate all things tricksy at the Roald Dahl Museum this October half-term

The nights are drawing in, the school holidays are on the horizon, and Mr and Mrs Twit are up to their old tricks!

Join us from 25 October to 2 November for our Tricks and Treats half-term. Join in with storytelling from The Twits every day, head to our drop-in craft room and make a tricksy witch mask or pick up a tricksy trail to help you explore the galleries.

Included in your admission ticket:

  • Storytelling
  • Drop in crafts and witch masks
  • Gallery trail
  • Free return admission for 12 months!
Wondrous workshops and events

You can also join in with marvellous workshops inspired by the book. From making an upside down room out of clay to taking a tricksy guided walk around the village. Take a look at the listing below for more information.

For the ultimate Halloween evening you mustn’t miss our Twilight Tricks Halloween Special. Taking place on Thursday 30 October from 4.30pm to 7.30pm the Museum will be open late especially. Join in with scarier storytelling from The Witches, make a craft Halloween mask and explore the courtyard with torches. There will be feeling boxes to discover if you’re brave enough!

You can also get your face painted and head out on our village trail, where you might meet some characters from Roald Dahl’s books as you explore – including the fearsome Miss Trunchbull!
