If you are a UK tax payer you can opt to Gift Aid your ticket.

This means the Museum can claim the tax back on your admission from the Government. It doesn’t cost you extra to Gift Aid your ticket, but you must pay tax equivalent to all your Gift Aid charitable donations in each tax year.

Our standard Museum admission tickets allow the ticket holder re-entry for one year.

Your donation is phizz-whizzingly generous and makes a gigantuous difference to our work as a charity. Thank you!

Gift Aid terms and conditions

Your ticket receipt will confirm that you give consent for The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (the Charity) to reclaim tax on the donation detailed on your ticket, given on the date shown.

If you pay less Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your charitable donations it is your responsibility to pay any difference. The donation you are making is equivalent to the Charity’s museum admission prices for the group who are entering the museum. The Charity will claim the tax on your donation (currently 25p on every £1 given).

Please notify the Charity (81-83 High Steet, Great Missenden, Bucks, HP16 0AL) if you wish to cancel your declaration; change your name or home address; no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay income tax at the higher rate you can claim further relief on your self-assessment tax return.
